Faction Overview

In Fleet Command Hevelius, you command fleets for one of the countless independent governments of the Hevelien Expansion Zone. Your ships are procured from one of six Sponsor Powers. These sponsors do not provide their gifts freely. In exchange for the power to defend and conquer star systems, you must heed the call to arms should they decide to direct your forces for their own aims.

THE SUPERPOWERS

Empire of the Sevens

One of two galactic superpowers, the Empire of the Sevens exists to spread enlightened authoritarian rule across the stars. Imperial hulls are prized for their affordability, ease of repair, and simple logistics. Starships built to expand galaxy-sized borders can propel ambitious star system to greatness.

Assault / Agility

Solar Alliance

One of two galactic superpowers, the Solar Alliance exists to nurture the fire of self-determination on every world that desires it. Alliance hulls are prized for their resilience, electronic systems, and weapons designed to keep crews far from danger. Starships built to patrol a galaxy are perfect for the frontier.

Long Range / Tank

THE OUTSIDERS

Tribes of the Zemin Exodus

The nomadic Zeminites roam the stars as penance for the destruction of their homeworld millennia ago. They do not practice traditional diplomacy, relying instead on making whatever deals and sacrifices are necessary to ensure their fleet’s survival. Zeminite ships have more in common with armed transports than warships.

Hit-and-Run / Mixed Arms

Pact Traders

Gleeful violators of the Terran Enforcement Pact, Pact Traders salvage dangerous and forbidden technologies in the name of profit. They outfit their ships with the same technology to ensure that if a deal ever turns sour, or the law finally catches up with them, they can fight their way to safety.

Elite

THE Ancients

Terran Remnant

Descendants of the first human explorers and survivors of countless galactic collapses, the Terran Remnant are not a unified government. They are a collection of civilizations with technologies and philosophies so dangerous that the galaxy cannot permit them to live in peace. Having disappeared since the failed Terran Uprising 2,500 years prior, their hiding places are watched over by swarms of lethal autonomous constructs.

Swarm Tactics / High Damage

Hevelien Isazi

Close Range / Technical

The Isazi were instrumental in defeating the Terrans. The galaxy rewarded them with extermination. Now slowly coming out of hiding into a galaxy that sees them as myth, the Hevelien Isazi have a mandate to preserve life as they unravel the mysteries of the universe. Isazi starships field less-lethal munitions for protection against those who would see them erased once again.
